1.0 Introduction
Faculty of Education (FP) puts assessment as an important activity in the process of teaching and learning. Assessment refers to the process of assessing the achievement of students by the academic staff for each learning unit and / or the entire course. The process also includes making decisions regarding the evidence essential to the purposes of assessment, how to obtain the evidence and interpret and communicate the evidence to stakeholders. Among other tasks related to assessment include designing instruments, building rubric based on learning outcomes, interpreting students’ achievement, providing timely feedback and assigning grades.
