8.0 Assessment Issues of Integrity and Ethics

The main purpose of the assessment carried out is to measure and report students’ achievement based on the set standards. Thus, the assessment procedures should be implemented on a standard to ensure transparency and fairness for all students. The management and administration of the assessment must be made in accordance with the guidelines so that students’ achievement results are a reflection of actual skills and abilities of students. Thus, all academic staff should act according to the designated steps.

8.1 Academic Integrity and Ethics

The main purpose of learning at the faculty is to produce students who are able to find the truth of knowledge based on transparent learning processes. Reports generates from the learning processes should also be reported honestly. Reporting any information that is not transparent is considered as an offense and will be fined. Offenses include plagiarism, copying in exams, quizzes or during assignments, allowing partners to replicate tasks and hire / ask others to complete the assignments.
For the offense of plagiarism, the penalty will be imposed according to categories based on the level of plagiarism.

0 mark is awarded for the assignment




Implementing plagiarism less than 50% of the given task

Student is required to revise the assignment and maximum passing grade given is B



Plagiarism by post graduates semester one students and considered accidentally plagiarizing. Warning letters will be documented in the students' personal files.


Issuance of warning letter by Post Graduate Manager.

For late submission of assignment, one mark will be deducted for each day after the due date.
