The Department of Science and Mathematics Education strives to produce teachers and trainers who are creative, innovative, skilful, and knowledgeable in mathematics and science as well as in education. We equip our students with modern methods and skills in teaching and developing teaching tools for science and mathematics. Apart from lecturing, our staffs are also active in research concerning current educational issues and policies in mathematics and sciences. We also organize events and seminars concerning science and mathematics education where teachers, educators and students from other institutions can share ideas and develop academic net workings.
