Dr. Waheeda Khan is presently Professor in the Department of Psychology and Honorary Director at the University Counseling & Guidance Centre, Jamia Millia Islamia (a Central University), New Delhi, India. She has more than 24 years of teaching, research and administrative experience. She has supervised 79 Ph.D and Master Theses. She has contributed in over 60 research papers/book chapters published/ accepted for publication in reputed indexed journals. She has also presented her work at 25 international and 40 national conferences. Her research areas coverenvironment, terrorism/violence, counseling, mental health, stress, health & well-being, emotion and coping in adolescents, youth and women.She has International collaboration in the areas of Inter-group contact, health, emotion and wellbeing. She has been actively contributing in the advancement of research as the Member of Editorial Boards of more than 10 National/International Journals. She has travelled number of countries to pursue her academic interests and visited USA (Universities of New York,Minnesota, San Francisco&Portland), UK, Canada, China, Australia, France, Sweden, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Malaysia, Singapore,Pakistan and Bangladesh. She has been recently appointed Adjunct Faculty, Co-guide and member of Ph.D Advisory Committee, School of Behavioral Sciences, Texila American University(Distance & Online Program),Georgetown, South America. Winner of various awards for her significant contribution, she has been the recipient of ARTS program twice, which is organized by International Union of Psychological Sciences, and Fellowship of the Year awarded by National Environment Science Academy etc. She was nominated Nodal Training Officer in HIV/AIDS counseling by NACO, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, and she has organized number of training programs for defense, paramilitary personnel, and counselors, and has organized a number of workshops/symposia/seminars, both National and International. She started her research career as University Grants’ Commission’s Junior Research Fellow, and later worked as Senior Research Fellow and Post-Doctoral Research Associate. Mohamed Najib bin Abdul Ghafar is currently a Professor of Education at the Faculty of Education,

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Malaysia. He secured his PhD in Higher Education from

University of Surrey, England. His research area includes research methodology, measurement &

evaluation and organizational development. He has contributed publications research activities

and paper presentations at national and international level. He has been hold many administrative

posts such as head of the department and deputy dean (academic affairs) in faculty of education,

Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.

Professor Najib actively involved in several research projects which is financial support from the

Research and Development Unit/ RMC, UTM, MOSTI and MOHE.

Also acts as a supervisor cum consultant for several students projects.
