DO YOU KNOW WHAT IS FREQUENCY?

Frequency is the number of times per second that a wave swings back and forth in a cycle from its beginning point to its ending point. It is the number of wave crests or cycles that passes a fixed point during a particular period of time.


APPLICATION OF FREQUENCY

The number of cycles or completed alternations per unit time of a sound wave, most often measured in Hertz. Frequencies commonly used in conventional side scan sonar range from 25 to 450 kHz. Although pulse widths and beam angles vary in different sonars and at different frequencies within the same system, generally higher frequencies provide a higher level of resolution with a sacrifice in range.

ADAKAH ANDA TAHU APA ITU FREKUENSI?

Frekuensi merujuk kepada jumlah kitaran yang dilakukan dalam masa satu saat. Ia juga merujuk kepada masa yang diambil bagi satu gelombang menghabiskan satu kitaran. Frekuensi diukur dalam unit hertz (Hz). Nilai frekuensi akan mempengaruhi kualiti sesuatu audio yang dirakamkan. Setiap corak yang muncul bagi setiap saat pada gelombang bunyi adalah bersamaan dengan 1 Hz.

BAGAIMANA FREKUENSI DIAPLIKASIKAN

Audio wujud dalam pelbagai frekuensi dan hanya sebahagian kecil sahaja julat frekuensi yang boleh diterima oleh pendengaran manusia. Julat frekuensi yang boleh diterima oleh pendengaran manusia biasanya ialah di antara 20 Hz- 2000 Hz manakala haiwan ada kalanya boleh mendengar sehingga 60 000 Hz.
